Art exhibit has a lot of heart

The Archivist Studios and Shoppe presents Matter of the Heart, an exhibit showcasing actual pieces from Hoosier artists’ hearts. The gallery offers a diorama of prisms scattering wavelengths through facets such as photography, painting, collage, textiles, ceramics and more.

Artists included are: Alyson Hatcher, Annie Lightsey, Benaiah Cusack, Brittany Murray, Emily Wingate, Janet Fry, Joanne Roeder, Julia K Worley, Kalen Dye, Kathleen Surfus, Katy Newton, Kira Manson, Kristi Marsh Watson, Mark Curry, Mary Beth Schrock, Merle Pace, Morgan Ness, Ranj Puthran, Samantha Stephens, Sarah Rae Cote, Vanessa Monfreda, and Vicky Shaffer White.

Matter of the Heart will open Feb. 10th at 805 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46201, with a reception that evening from 6 to 9 p.m. It is free and open to all.
