Great Day TV reporter Joy Hernandez had successful art show!

Joy and Great Day TV host Patty Spitler ham it up at the opening of Joy's art show at Clowes Hall.

You’ve seen many stories about artists on Great Day TV, most done by our skillful reporter/photographer Joy Hernandez. But did you know Joy also is an artist herself? Yep, and in a big way! She recently had an art installation at Clowes Hall, in the Butler Arts Center at Butler University, Indianapolis.

Called “Happy Go Lucky,” it was a collection of her latest animation-inspired, pop-graffiti aerosol-and-acrylic paintings,.

on display until October 11 and available for public viewing during Clowes Memorial Hall’s regular hours, Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Most pieces are for sale.

This is Joy’s second Clowes show; her other exhibit was in 2010.
