With all of the holiday lights and other festivities going on right now, the holiday mood is in full swing. One of the best displays around Indianapolis is The Festival of Trees at the Indiana Historical Society, located in the Indiana History Center, 450 W. Ohio St.
This year’s extravaganza features a winter wonderland of 75 elaborately decorated trees representing individuals, families and organizations from around Indiana.
You can vote for your favorite tree and take part in scavenger hunts for The Elf on the Shelf throughout the building.
Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
On Tuesdays, Dec. 21 and 28, there will be extended hours, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Festival of Trees will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
