Joy Hernandez wins Best Local Visual Artist award!
The votes are in and who’s the most popular visual artist in Indianapolis?

The Indianapolis Star recently conducted a 2020 Best Things in Indianapolis poll online, where you could pick your favorite restaurants, music venues, sports personalities and more. Joy took the top spot in the "Best Local Visual Artist in Indianapolis" category.
Joy not only is a painter and the founder of Full Circle Nine Gallery in Indianapolis, she is a veteran photographer for WISH-TV and contributes stories for Pet Pals TV and Great Day TV, produced by INDY Audio Visual Productions.
"I’m absolutely floored. I was shocked! I yelled and scared my dog!" Joy said upon learning of her award.
"This award isn’t true at all. There are are plenty of amazing artists in this city. I’m certainly not the best one. But I do have the best friends and fans! You guys voted for me on this, so this is all you! I just paint things that (hopefully) make you smile, but YOU all made my day.
"My gallery, Full Circle Nine, also was a finalist. I'd like to thank all who voted for FC9 and congratulate Newfields on their win."
