Lobster Mac & Cheese from Caplinger's

You can make this at home! Lobster Mac & Cheese recipe from Caplinger’s Fresh Catch:

16 oz medium shell pasta

4 oz Gruyere cheese

4 oz Applewood smoked cheddar

2 oz sharp provolone

2 oz Alehouse Cheddar

2 oz Romano

2 oz Parmesana Reggiano

2 cups whole milk

1.5 cups mayonnaise

3/4 cup flour mixed with 1 cup water (whisked together)

1/4 tablespoon celery seed

1/4 tablespoon garlic

1/2 tablespoon black pepper

2 pounds lobster meat

1 stick butter

1/2 cup bread crumbs

Cook pasta in salted water, then drain. While pasta is cooking, add cheese to a food processor and mix till there are no large chunks. Put cheese, milk, mayonnaise and seasonings in a pot over medium heat and whisk until cheese is melted. Add the flour and water slurry to thicken. Bring sauce to simmer and turn off heat. Toss the lobster meat and butter together and then add it to the cheese sauce. Mix it all together and then put it in a large baking dish. Top with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
