Patty to give library talk May 21

Patty Spitler will chat about her life and love for animals.
Great Day TV and Pet Pals TV host Patty Spitler will appear at the Indianapolis Michigan Road library on Saturday, May 21, at 2:30 p.m. to talk about her career as a TV anchor and entertainment reporter for WISH-TV.
She also will talk about her new book, "The Dog Who Saved My Life." The book reveals her childhood in Dayton, Ohio, her early years in radio and her 23-year career at WISH-TV covering news and entertainment. She also will talk about the influence that pets and animals have had throughout her life.
Her talk is sponsored by the Indianapolis Branch of the National League of American Pen Women and is open to the public. The library branch is located at 6201 Michigan Road, Indianapolis 46268. Seating is limited.
Her book will be available for purchase for $20. Some proceeds from the book will be donated to animal rescues and shelters.
