Good news from American Senior Communities! ASC has designated eight of its memory care centers, including Rosegate in Indianapolis, as Purple Butterfly Memory Care Centers of Distinction, designating those centers as top providers of memory care. Rosegate, which is also a training site for memory care providers, is located at 7510 Rosegate Drive in Indianapolis.

Memory care centers provide 24-hour residential care to those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. They must meet state and federal standards, but these eight communities surpass standards in providing care. Enhanced services provide a higher quality of life for residents and offer a broader range of support to families and other caregivers.

Other Purple Butterfly Memory Care Centers of Distinction include Coventry Meadows and Heritage Park in Fort Wayne, Salem Crossing in Salem, Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford, Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center in Newburgh, East Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation in Elkhart and Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg.

American Senior Communities memory care centers are called Auguste’s Cottages and are located within communities that also provide a range of other services including long-term care, skilled nursing, Moving Forward Rehabilitation, respite and hospice care.
