ASC nationally recognized as a top nursing home chain

American Senior Communities (ASC), the largest senior healthcare provider in Indiana, has been recognized as one of the top-performing nursing home chains in the nation. With 102 senior living communities across Indiana, including 91 skilled nursing care communities, ASC continues to demonstrate excellence in quality care while maintaining its focus as an Indiana-only based provider.

Although ASC does not operate on a national footprint, the organization has earned a place among the Top 20 largest nursing home chains in the United States. In a recent report compiled by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), ASC ranked No. 12 nationwide in total number of locations among the country’s largest skilled nursing providers.

In addition to its Top 20 ranking, ASC distinguished itself in quality performance. Among the 20 largest nursing home chains in the country, ASC achieved the second-highest overall CMS Star Rating nationwide, earning an impressive 3.7 overall rating.
