A little calm before the holiday rush—and a few kittens, too.

Holistic Hub Wellbeing Fest, sponsored by Holistic Dental Wellness of Carmel and presented by Indy Holistic Hub, returns Sunday, November 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hub & Spoke in Fishers. Admission is free.

The festival brings together local wellness professionals, hands-on experiences, speakers and artisans, giving visitors a chance to try something new and find resources they can use beyond the afternoon.

Pet Pals TV’s very own Kitty Correspondent, KJ McGlinn, is bringing her PurrCon pop-up to the festival for the first time—and taking the stage as a featured speaker.

Kittens, connection and a little play

PurrCon’s Cozy Cat Corner will feature adoptable kittens with rescue partner ARPO, Feline Friendship Bracelets, coloring and crafts. Visitors can also join Musical Cat Boxes™, a playful, cat-themed take on musical chairs.

At noon, KJ presents “Presence Over Purrfection: A SuPURR Approach to Wellbeing.” The longtime Indianapolis radio and television personality and PurrCon founder brings stories, humor and audience participation to a conversation about making room for presence, connection, play and rest.

Explore something new

Whether you’re curious about wellness or already have favorite practices, the festival offers opportunities to:

  • Take a pause: Try restorative yoga or a crystal bowl sound experience.

  • Experience sound differently: Explore a complimentary mini session on Resonant Recharge’s vibroacoustic table, where sound becomes vibration you can feel.

  • Meet local experts: Ask questions about movement, mobility, brain health, nutrition and other areas of wellbeing.

  • Browse the marketplace: Discover local artisans, wellness products, gifts and food.

At 2 p.m., movement educator Paula Rene Lord presents “Vision In Motion: Aligning Energy, Posture, and Purpose for a Clearer Future.” With more than 30 years of experience and a background in gymnastics, Pilates and corrective exercise, Lord invites visitors to explore posture, movement and purpose through an interactive session.

“The holistic health and wellness community keeps growing, with new approaches and tools to explore,” said Jennifer Seffrin, Founder of Indy Holistic Hub. “Whether you’re just getting

started or have been exploring wellness for years, there’s always someone new to meet and

something more to learn.”
