Seven ASC communities named among America's best

American Senior Communities (ASC) is proud to announce that seven of its communities have been recognized among America’s Best Nursing Homes 2027 by Newsweek and global data and research firm Statista. 

The annual recognition highlights nursing homes across the United States that demonstrate a strong commitment to quality care, safety and the well-being of their residents. With thousands of nursing homes serving communities nationwide, recognition by Newsweek and Statista provides families with valuable information as they consider care options for themselves or a loved one. 

ASC communities earned recognition across two nursing home size categories, with several facilities continuing a strong record of recognition from previous years. 

In the 150+ bed category, six ASC communities ranked among the top nursing homes in Indiana, including: 

·    Coventry Meadows – Fort Wayne: Ranked No. 1, improving from No. 3 in 2026. 

·    Greenwood Meadows – Greenwood: Ranked No. 2, marking four consecutive years among the top two. 

·     Heritage Park – Fort Wayne: Ranked No. 3, improving from No. 4 in 2026. 

·      East Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation – Elkhart: Ranked No. 6, improving from No. 11 in 2026. 

·      Rosegate – Indianapolis: Ranked No. 8. 

In the 100-149 bed category, the following ASC communities were among only fifteen Indiana nursing homes to make the list this year:  

·    Danville Regional Rehabilitation – Danville: Ranked No. 9. 

·    Good Samaritan Home & Rehabilitative Center – Oakland City: Ranked #11 

The recognition is especially meaningful for ASC because several of the communities have been recognized by Newsweek and Statista in previous years, demonstrating a continued commitment to serving residents and families at a high level.
