Children's Museum explores emotions, Ninja Turtles and Mandela in new exhibits



The Children's Museum of Indianapolis has three new exhibitions coming up.

 

Disney and Pixar team up for Emotions at Play with Pixar’s Inside Out. Learn about the important role emotions, memory, and imagination play in our everyday lives. Fun-filled interactive experiences focus on the five emotions featured in the film —Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear. Learn to recognize emotions and explore ways that we express and manage our own emotions. Recommended for ages 3-8.

 

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secrets of the Sewer, opens March 8. Experience the first-ever museum exhibit featuring the four heroic ninjas-in-training—Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Leap to the rescue and learn teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving as you work your way through puzzles, mazes, and obstacles. Explore their sewer-like lair, where good guys win and bad guys lose!


Mandela: The Official Exhibition opens June 21. Lawyer. Revolutionary, Political prisoner. World leader. Elder statesman. Human rights icon, Global advocate for change. Nelson Mandela has been all these things to people across the world. This exhibition provides a unique opportunity to learn more about the iconic freedom fighter and political leader, Nelson Mandela.
