"Art & Soul: A Portrait of Nancy Noel" was an Audience Award Winner at the 2023 Heartland International Film Festival.

A holiday exhibit of Nancy’s artwork, originals and reproductions, will be on display at the Brown County Art Gallery throughout the holidays. The gallery is at One Artist Drive, Nashville, IN 47448

Most people are familiar with Nancy Noel, a painter whose images of angels, animals, Amish children and much more grace the walls of art collectors all over the world.

Nancy died in August 2020 and leaves a legacy of soulful art, depicted with her creative spirit in “Art & Soul: A Portrait of Nancy Noel,” which premiered at the 2023 Heartland Film Festival.

The documentary is directed by her son, Alex Noel Kosene, and produced by Kosene, Sami Mustaklem and Amy Pauszek.

Great Day TV host and reporter Patty Spitler, who interviewed Nancy several times and was a friend, is featured in the film.

"Nancy Noel was a renowned painter, a visionary in her business, and an activist in her life. Nancy Noel created not just paintings, but a life that became her art’s inspiration. Through her images and their creation, we see the world as Nancy saw it," say the filmmakers.

A virtual screening to watch at home is available for $12 here: artandsoulfilm.com/virtual
