Patty is the host of Great Day TV and Pet Pals TV which air Saturdays on WISH-TV and WHMB40. She became a popular TV personality in Indianapolis when she joined WISH-TV 8 as an afternoon show host in 1982, eventually becoming a news anchor and entertainment reporter.
The book contains dozens of photos of Patty with celebrities, her family and her pets, and traces her life as a young girl in Dayton, Ohio, to her current TV programs. There are numerous references to pets and other animals who became companions throughout her life.
