Milan Miracle marks 70 year anniversary

Can you believe it’s been 70 years since the Milan Miracle? Tiny Milan High School beat Muncie Central 32-30 for the basketball state championship in 1954 when senior Bobby Plump sunk a last-minute basket – the inspiration for the movie “Hoosiers.” Renee Jameson sits down with Plump at his restaurant in Broad Ripple, Plump’s Last Shot, to talk about the miracle win’s 70th anniversary. At 87, he still goes to work every day and visits with his fans at the restaurant, offering advice for young ball players.
